Project Spotlight: Smart Lighting & Security Upgrade in Bourton

Location: Bourton
Service: LED Floodlights & Ring Floodlight Camera

The Challenge

A Bourton homeowner recently reached out to us with growing concerns about their home security. The property had several poorly lit areas, particularly around external access points, making it vulnerable at night. The client wanted a solution that would improve both visibility and deterrence, without causing major disruption to their home.

Our Solution

After assessing the property, we recommended a straightforward but powerful upgrade:

  • LED Floodlights with PIR Sensors
Strategically placed to cover all external access points, ensuring the garden and side entrances were no longer left in darkness.

  • Ring Floodlight Camera
Fitted at the front of the property, providing the homeowner with real-time monitoring, HD video, and a clear visual deterrent to potential intruders.

The Results

This small-scale project delivered a big impact. The homeowner now has:

  • Complete coverage of vulnerable areas at night

  • Peace of mind with instant alerts and camera access via their phone

  • A system that acts as both a deterrent and a practical security upgrade

The client commented that the improvements made them feel “significantly safer” in their home, especially with the added reassurance of being able to check in remotely.

Going Further – Smart Door Security

Alongside lighting and cameras, we also supply and install Ring Doorbells, offering:

  • Motion-activated alerts straight to your phone

  • Two-way talk and HD video footage

  • A simple way to monitor parcels and visitors, even when you’re away

Why Act Now

With a short time to go until the clocks go back, evenings are about to get darker sooner. Whether you’re planning a late summer holiday or simply want to feel more secure through the winter, now is the perfect time to upgrade your home security.
